Fence replacement, scoped from eight answers.
Before we quote a fence, we ask the same eight questions on every job: gates, removal, material, posts, spacing, length, locate, and anything else we should know. Answer them below and we come back with scope and timing.
What we ask before every fence job.
Each answer changes the scope, the material list or the schedule. Having them up front means a faster, more accurate quote.
Does the fence have any gates that will be replaced?
Gates need their own posts and hardware, so they're scoped separately.
Will the old fence be removed by us?
Tear-down and disposal can be part of the job, or handled on your side.
What material will be used for the new fence?
Material sets most of the cost and how long the fence lasts.
What size will be used for the base post?
Thicker posts carry taller or heavier fences and gates.
Separation from base post to base post
Spacing sets how many posts go in the ground along the run.
Approximate linear feet of fence being replaced?
A rough number is fine. We confirm the measurement on site.
Has a land survey (locate) been completed yet?
Underground utilities have to be located before any post hole is dug.
